Jessica Janos is a multi-award winning director, writer and producer.

She has directed such feature films as the upcoming DEADLY CHEERS, DECORATED FOR DEATH (2021), STOLEN IN PLAIN SIGHT (2020) starring Gracie Gillam, SUBURBAN SWINGERS CLUB (2019) starring Dana Davis, and SEDUCED (2016) starring Elisabeth Rohm for Lifetime. 

Her current slate of projects include the horror feature, THE DOOR UNDER THE STAIRCASE, produced by and starring SER’DARIUS BLAIN (JUMANJI, CHARMED) and FALLOUT, co-produced with Ron King, Ashley Hirt and Adriana Rotaru with KARSEN LIOTTA and PAUL D’AMATO attached.

She is producing and directing the YouTube series  MEDICINE DECONSTRUCTED with Dr. Jamie Rutland and she directed the first episode of season 2 of PERFECT CHAOS.

She is also directed several music videos including ACID WAVES for Pale Blue and the recently released JOSHUA TREE by Jason Nutter and Jesika von Rabbit.

Her commercial spots include the recent campaign for THE CALIFORNIA BALLET.

Previous projects include PRETTYFACE, a coming-of-age thriller,  starring Karsen Liotta, Annalise Basso and Patrick Schwarzenegger with academy award winning producer Fred Roos, MARK TWAIN for Val Kilmer, and FROM THE LOTUS for Prince.

Janos began as a painter, where she was accepted into CalArts School of Fine Arts at the age of 16. She later went on to earn her BA in Film from the University of New South Wales in Sydney and her MFA in Directing at the AFI Conservatory.

Jessica is a volunteer for Young Storytellers, a member of the Film Fatales, Alliance of Women Directors and a founding member of the AFIC Women Directors Association.
